Our departed lost in the game. Some of these characters met an untimely end during game play; others have been abandoned and had no place to remain.

Dearly beloved, we gather here to say our goodbyes...

Dawn

Details: A gift to be protected, a Key disguised as a sister that could have marked the end of the world. In the end, despite Buffy's great sacrifice, Dawn was never real, and never meant to really live. With Glory dead and the portal forever sealed, the Key turned back to it's original form, a swirling mass of glowing green and gold energy that scattered throughout the universe.

Though the girl was never real, memories of her remained behind. Those who knew Dawn best feel her loss, the heartbreak as true as if any of their makeshift family had died. She will be missed, her short life celebrated, and her noble heart remembered.
