The Master Plot

Page history last edited by Mina Eliot 10 years, 3 months ago

This is the page where we will list all major events that have occurred in the game. It'll help active players keep up with the past, give new players a place to catch up, and hopefully help us all keep a perspective on the overall look of things. It's noted elsewhere, but the invitation to suggest your own plot point is always welcome.

Sunnydale/LA

Dawn reverted back to her original form as energy. Buffy had died and has been resurrected, alive now for 4 months.  Whispers have gotten around that the Slayer is dead in demon circles. Her being brought back is a rumor most choose not to believe.

Buffy is lost in her new life, can’t seem to find her footing again. Worse, she desperately wants to see the sister she died for return. It seems so impossible, and all attempts have failed. Plus, nobody knows her dirty little secret out having been ripped out of Heaven.

Lindsey McDonald wandered the world getting new powers, and preparing to pick a few old fights with improved skills. He ended up in Sunnydale, figured it was the best place to test out his new found strength. With the Slayer dead the town was bound to be overrun with targets. Of course, he didn't anticipate meeting a petite blonde who threw everything off, and made him reset his plans. Like most of the world, he thought Buffy Summers was dead. He never expected to meet her in the flesh, or to become impressed before he even learned her name.

Willow did the impossible- she brought Buffy back from the dead, saved her from the clutches of Hell. It was her greatest triumph, and now her heaviest burden. She brought her best friend back into a world where her sacrifice saved the world, but she still lost the sister she died to save. Now she's expected to bring Dawny back to, which is causing a lot of stress and seems even more impossible than her first resurrection.  All the effort is starting to take its toll on the young witch.

Giles has left for England, and has more or less been in a downward spiral ever since then. He has just now gotten around to checking his mail and turning his phone on since he cut himself from the rest of the world these last several months. Despite several attempts on behalf of the Scoobies, he just very recently learned that Buffy is alive and met her face to face for the first time since she returned.

Back in LA, Faith heard the rumors too, found out about Buffy being on the dead side of things. She had been intending on staying on the up and up, on serving her jail time like any normal girl with a dark, jaded past. Of course with Buffy dead, someone has to fill her shoes, and it's not like Slayers are a dime a dozen. End result: Wrong actions, right reasons, Faith busted out of jail and ran into an old acquaintance she'd started to give up on.

Angel has been spending time at a monastery in Sri Lanka, mourning Buffy' death and returned to LA to find a newly free from jail Faith.  Nobody gave them the memo that Buffy is back in commission. They are banding together, heading for Sunnydale for damage control.

Lorne met someone new and wildly unexpected. The stranger represents something of a danger since he's threatening to tear the demon away from his beloved Caritas. His head keeps telling him no, but his guts is telling him something big is about to go down, and he's going to be needed. Oh, and this new guy, he blots out Lorne's abilities.

Jaiden found himself drawn to Caritas, knows without explanation that he had to be there. Well, besides the yummy emotions to snack on which bounce all over the place there. He met Lorne, followed him out to try and figure him out, can't kick the need to communicate with the other demon. Could it be he's meant to drag the other to a place called Sunnydale to find the blonde girl he keeps seeing through his powers?
